Prioritizing Adolescent Mental Health with California Youth Services

Promise me you'll always remember: you're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
- Christopher Robin

Did you know that nearly half of all adolescents have experienced a mental health disorder at some point in their lives? It's a staggering statistic that calls for urgent attention. We can make a positive impact on young lives by promoting mental well-being and ensuring early intervention and treatment for those in need.

California Youth Services (CYS) can help. We have established Pathways Community Counseling Center (PCCC) to provide comprehensive therapy and counseling services that are accessible to everyone. Our goal is to address the emotional stressors that affect adolescents and their families, offering high-quality yet affordable counseling options.

PCCC offers help in addressing many situations that cause emotional stress, including, but not limited to:

  • Substance abuse and other addictions

  • Anxiety, depression, and other mental and emotional problems and disorders

  • Family and relationship issues

  • Sexual abuse and domestic violence

  • Eating disorders

  • Career change and job stress

  • Social and emotional difficulties related to disability and illness

  • Adoption issues

  • Embracing life transitions

  • Coping with the death of a loved one

With counseling offices conveniently located in Laguna Hills and Tustin, our services are readily available to all communities of Orange County.

By collaborating with CYS and utilizing the resources of PCCC, we can prioritize the mental well-being of our young generation and pave the way for a brighter future.
