This October, California Youth Services is launching our 2026 Annual Giving Campaign: Help Youth Rise Above Challenges and we’d love for you to follow the journey with us.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be sharing the story of Jonas; a teen who faced difficult choices, family struggles, and challenges that could have changed the course of his life forever.

After being referred through one of our Alternative to Suspension school district programs, Jonas began receiving support through JADE, monitored drug testing services, and counseling through Pathways Community Counseling Center. What started as a consequence became an opportunity for healing, accountability, and hope.

Like many of the youth and families we serve, Jonas’ family needed support they could afford. Because of generous donors, grants, fundraising events, and community support, CYS was able to help provide services that made a life-changing difference.

Throughout this campaign, we invite you to walk alongside Jonas and see how early intervention, counseling, education, and support can help youth rise above challenges and discover new possibilities.
