Alternative to Suspension Options

Choose California Youth Services (CYS) to Manage Your School's Alternative to Suspension.

CYS understands that traditional suspension can lead to increased disengagement and negative outcomes for students, often exacerbating existing challenges they may face. Our program offers a structured and constructive alternative that places a strong emphasis on prevention and intervention rather than punishment, fostering a more positive school environment. By actively collaborating with educators, we meticulously tailor our approach to not only meet the unique needs of each individual student but also address the specific circumstances of the entire school community. We provide a wide range of customizable options designed to effectively fit your distinctive needs, including a comprehensive three-day education program that focuses on addressing critical skill development, as well as direct referral to our specialized JADE and/or Pathways Counseling programs. We can also provide on-site random student drug testing. If you are interested in learning more about these valuable resources and how they can benefit your students, please contact us to arrange a meeting where we can discuss your specific needs in detail. Additionally, we have included more detailed information below, which consists of a comprehensive list of schools and districts that currently make use of our services. In addition to this information, we would also be happy to share with you recommendation letters from several schools or districts we have proudly served for over ten years, showcasing our commitment and effectiveness in supporting their students.
