COPING WITH ADDICTION: OFFERING PARENTS PEACE OF MIND.

One of the most difficult decisions a parent may ever have to make is the one to send a child to a drug education and diversion program. The professional staff at California Youth Services are dedicated to educating and assisting families through this difficult time.

REFERRING YOUR CHILD TO CALIFORNIA YOUTH SERVICES

Concerned parents/guardians may voluntarily enroll their child into various CYS programs. The Juvenile Alcohol and Drug Education (JADE) Program and Pathways Community Counseling Center all provide parents and adolescents with prevention, education, and counseling services that address the wide array of issues facing teens today. Many participants are brought to these programs by proactive parents/guardians after their children have disrespected important rules/laws (taken the car without permission or a driver’s license, sneaking out past curfew, stealing money from relatives, use of alcohol and/or drugs, etc) and a direct referral from a school district or law enforcement agency is not a requirement. The professional staff at CYS are dedicated to educating and assisting families through what can be some of the most difficult times. Every family is provided with individualized professional recommendations and encouraged to contact us directly with any and all future questions and concerns post class completion and/or counseling termination.

If you feel that your child may benefit from any of the services that CYS offers, please contact us and we would be happy to discuss how we can help.
